Navigating Stress and Creating Transformation
Is it possible to feel empowered and at peace during stress, challenge and difficulty?
This workshop is an opportunity to learn about the ways in which the wounding and distressing experiences we have had, impact our lives; our choices and behaviours; and our self-esteem. With ever increasing stressors to navigate in daily life, it can become easy to feel like we are bystanders in our own lives; dis-empowered and disconnected from ourselves and others. Understanding about mental health and having concrete strategies for navigating stressors can allow us to be active agents in our lives again; creating healing, transformation and a sense of balance.
This workshop is about exploring mental health and wellness principles; and obtaining concrete tools to manage stress and trauma in functional and healthy ways.
Workshop facilitator, H. Ameeta Singh, has been working as a mental health therapist since Protected content has extensive experience supporting people in managing everyday stressors, making major life decisions, navigating cultural norms and managing the impacts of trauma. She offers individual and couples’ therapy at her online private practice in California as well as a private practice in NZ.
This is a free workshop and space is limited.
