Let’s attend TED – Style Talks
We have three speakers who are going to speak on three different topics!
1. Stuart, Traveller to places we haven’t
North Korea is, as we hear a lot, about as bad as it gets. Stuart, who was able to visit in Protected content , says that “in making judgments we need to balance the good, the bad and the ugly”. He’ll describe how the land of mysteries and threat is also the land of surprises and beauty.
2. Ryan Melton, Investment Adviser for Financial Planning NZ
Financial literacy. Scary, almost a taboo subject. Ryan wants to break through the barriers and get us thinking about something that has a huge influence on our lives. What are the key behavioural fallacies of the human condition that stand between us and financial freedom? To know more, visit:
3. Jessie Singh, Diversity nerd
Jessie uses humour to address our fears and faux pas around how we deal with others. She maintains that diversity is a word that paradoxically includes everyone. This talk will address how to be authentically you and how to NAIL IT!
Doors open at 6:45pm with the first talk beginning at 7:00pm.
Attendance is free, but if you can spare it, a gold coin donation to help cover the venue hire cost would be very appreciated.
See you all on Thursday! :)
