Cycle and Pub Lunch- Ipsden- On-Road, Level3 Moderate
Join us again for a fun cycle ride for a country pub lunch starting Reading - about 25 miles total.
Heading out of Reading via Caversham, heading north on lanes and past Stoke Row and on towards Ipsden. Mostly Gentle hills until we get to a big descent before getting to Ipsden where we stop at the King William IV pub dominating the valley on two sides towards Reading and Oxford. We then have a challenging climb to start with back towards Reading, again along lanes, partially on the Cycle route 4, as we return to Reading.
If you do not come suitably equipped I am afraid will not let you join the ride, in the interests of safety:
* Suitable for road bikes, mountain bikes and hybrid bikes
* Please come equipped with helmets, gloves and suitable clothes.
* Bring water bottles and sufficient energy bars, fruit, snacks.
* Make sure you have lights on your bike because it will be dark when we come back.
