Happy new year hikers!
Our first hike of the year will be at Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary. The forest is beautiful, peaceful , not frequented by many.
Not to be confused with the Ngong Hills, the Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary is another managed forest in the west end of the city and next to the Jamhuri Park, which is about 6 km from the CBD.
It is managed under the auspices of Ngong Road Forest Association.
Entry gate is only 1,5km from the Junction Mall along newly renovated Ngong Road on the way to Karen. Pin location will be provided for ease of reference.
