Mathioya River Line Hike
This hike starts at Aberdare cottages and continues along river Mathioya. The trail will take you through tea plantations, farms, and river crossings.
We will stay overnight at Aberdare cottages, a luxury camp in Mathioya. This is a beautiful lodge that overlooks the Mathioya river which is situated in the Aberdare most exquisite settings. The spectacular views of the Mathioya River, the small-scale tea farms, and interlocking valleys and ridges make the camp one of the most sort after locations for relaxation, cultural events, fishing, and hiking. The views from the lodge and restaurant are amazing!

Sat: long hike Protected content
The trails: There will be two trails, a longer one 4-5hours depending on your pace, and a shorter one of 3hours.
The river line trails are very scenic. Walking as you listen to the sound of the river is therapeutic, the best way to keep fit and unwind at the same time.
Sunday, short river line walk after breakfast
Leave for Nairobi after lunch.
Cost is inclusive of :
