Last minute Sunday trip to Dordrecht-Rotterdam
Let’s go to Dordrecht and visit this charming small city. We will have a walk around the city and visit a museums.
Dordrecht is located in the south west of the Netherlands in the South Holland province and has a population of approximately 118,000. The main center of the city is actually on an island, but the greater municipal area covers towns on the Oude Maas river and other waterways. Granted city right in the Protected content by William I, Dordrecht is actually the oldest city in the South Holland Province.

This unique museum was once the home of Simon van Gijn and has been faithfully restored to its original condition and includes furniture, fixings and decorations from the period. Simon van Gijn was a collector during his time and amassed a large collection of different objects – Many of which can be seen inside his house today.
We go for lunch or drink and we take the boat to Rotterdam. Is around 1 hour and costs 6 euro, departure every 30min . There we can walk a bit, stop for a drink and come back by train
