Come and join the City Trotters on their next day trip out of the city. This time we will be hiking up Mount Zuqualla which is an extinct volcano located 25km from Bishoftu (Debra Zeit) on an unsealed road so the drive will take around 90 minutes. It will take us around Protected content to hike up the mountain where there is a crater lake known as Lake Dembel and an island monastery founded by Gebe Mentos Kedus in the 4th century. The mountain is 2, Protected content high. The lake is considered as holy waters so we are not able to go in it but we can have a picnic lunch overlooking the lake before hiking down again. Since this is a hiking trip please dress with suitable clothes and shoes . We will have two groups - those who can make it up to the top and those who just want to go half way. However you need to be reasonably fit and able to hike for Protected content uphill and then down hill again. The price is 850birr which includes transport, guide, water ,picnic lunch ,soft drink & beer. Not included Entrance fee . There might be additional costs for entrance fee (Bring your Residence ID card if you have them) Please pay beforehand to confirm your place. Protected content and order your choice of sandwich from one of the following bacon, chicken, egg, ham, fasting vegetable , cheese & fasting with cheese sandwich. You can also order one for breakfast for an extra 100ETB
