Let's Visit An Extinct Volcanic Lake
Come and join us for a weekend trip to visit an extinct volcanic Lake.
Early morning after breakfast, meet at 6:30am to start driving from Addis Abeba to Wenchi Crater Lake. We will stop for coffee and a comfort break in the town of Ambo, the source of Ethiopia’s sparking water before reaching Wenchi Crater.
The lake lies at around Protected content above sea level in the crater of an extinct volcano. There are hot springs, waterfalls, a monastery, beautiful valleys and farmlands. Once reaching the lake, we will hike around part of the lake. We will then stop to have a packed lunch enjoying the fantastic views and then go back to hiking again. If you don't want to hike all the way, you can hire a horse to ride at your own cost. Over night at Protected content
Day 2 In morning after enjoying a natural hot spring swimming pool we will have a relaxing breakfast before checking out of the Hotel either eating our Lunch in the Hotel or somewhere else and then return back to Addis Ababa arriving early evening.
