Let’s Visit the 11 Rock Hewn Churches
Our next Long weekend trip takes us to The 11 Rock-Hewn churches of Lalibela and Around.
Day 1: After breakfast; fly from Addis Abeba to Lalibela

After Arrive in Lalibela then visit the 1st of the Northwest group of churches (earthly Jerusalem) of King Lalibela
In meantime, We will have a lunch break
Overnight Sora Lodge. Dinner at Ben Abeba
Day 2: Drive to The Asheton Maryam monastery, the perfect excuse to explore the stunning mountain scenery surrounding Lalibela and Yemrehana Kristos one of Ethiopia's best-preserved late Axumite churches. The drive back to Lalibela after Lunch break visits the South East Group of Churches (heavenly Jerusalem) of King Lalibela. Overnight Sora Lodge, night activity Torpedo Tejbet.
Day 3: In the morning visit, the Third Group of Churches (Noah’s ship) Bête Giorgis (house of St George) then drive to the Airport. On the way, stop to visit Na’akuto La’ab: it is simple but an attractive church built under the natural cave. Then take the early afternoon flight back to Addis
