Let’s Travel for Spectacular Ceremonies of Ethiopian Christmas
Ethiopian Christmas in Lalibela-historical ceremony not to
be missed!
Day 1: Early morning take a flight from Addis Ababa to Lalibela on arrival visit the 1st of the Northwest group of churches (earthly Jerusalem) of King Lalibela. After Lunch visit the South East Group of Churches (heavenly Jerusalem). Evening we will attend the Eve ceremony of Ethiopia Christmas music and chanting. Overnight Lalibela.
Day 2 and 3 two days of trekking
Day 2: Trek Lalibela to Ashton Mariam and walk to Beautiful valley and through the village overnight at Hudad Lodge it takes four up to five hour
Day 3: Treks to the way to abune Yosef it’s a full day it takes eleven up to twelve-hour trekking then visit mount Abune Yosef and back overnight at Hudad Lodge
Day 4: Drive back to Lalibela which takes two hours and visit the remaining Churches. Then drop off at the Airport!
