Let’s Climb Extinct Volcano
Mount Yerer is a four-million-year-extinct volcano, set on the Western Rift Valley wall to the north of the village of Dukem on the Addis-Bishoftu road.
We will drive 70 minutes southeast of Addis in a coaster bus to Mount Yerer.
From there we will start an easy climb along a forested track to 2, Protected content . We will enjoy a picnic lunch put together before descending again. It will take 3 hours to go up and 2 hours to go down.
The price for the trip is Protected content which includes a return trip from Addis to Mount Yerer, Water, Guide fee, scout, Beer, soft drink, and Coffee/Tea. Please pay beforehand to guarantee your space either at upcoming InterNations events or via bank transfer.
