Carnevale Ambrosiano

Hallo everybody!!
Here we are again, able to meet in person; I hope forever from now on.
On Saturday the 20th it will be Carnevale Ambrosiano, celebrated only in Milan and its diocesis. It lasts a week longer as the legend says that the milanese mask, Meneghin, returned back to Milan from a journey too late to celebrate Carneval on time. So the Milanese people waited for him. But in reality, this was decided by the Ambrosian Diocesis,in order to give a strong message to Rome: Milan is Ambrosian Catholic and has its own rules. No matter what the Roman Catholic said, the Milanese diocesis is the widest in the Catholic world, and the Church did not find it convenient to fight against the decision
I shall wait for you in this stylish and elegant old cafè, where we could meet and have a lovely merenda together. Don't forget your masks, the covid ones, and if you can, wear something funny! Its Carnival after all, and we long to go back to life as much as possible.
