Soulful Connections Over Coffee
"Soulful Connections Over Coffee" is just that: a chance to truly connect with others over a drink by sharing what we are going through and enjoying stimulating conversational topics with friends. While this group is open to everyone, it is designed for those with a spiritual orientation and an interest in psychology, especially positive psychology with its focus on increasing happiness in everyday living.
ABOUT THIS SESSION
In this meeting, we'll talk about authentic living. In a world that can be false, superficial, and disingenuous, being transparent, honest, and sincere is critical to creating healthy relationships and happy lives. In short, we must live from the truth of who we are. But what is that truth? Who exactly are we? Is there a spiritual component to our identity? If so, how does that influence our lives as human beings? Can "being real" help us resolve the current pandemic? As we try to answer these questions, we'll discuss the challenges we face in living authentically and how we can overcome them. Come join us at this peaceful café for a soulful chat!
Note: This event is intended for small groups, so I'm setting an attendance limit. For now it will happen once every two weeks, mostly on Sundays. If you know of relatively quiet venues that can accommodate up to 10 people and are open on Sundays, please let me know. (This will be the last meeting until the end of August.) Thank you.
