Winter Hiking Expedition and Brunch
Join us for a relaxing snowshoe hike at Clifton E. French Regional Park. The French Regional Park is very accessible and is located along the north shore of Medicine Lake in Plymouth, MN. This hike is by far the easiest winter activity you can participate in. It has an incredibly low barrier of entry, in terms of both skill and equipment. All you will need is a pair of good boots and warm clothes. Snowshoes can be rented from the Visitor Center for about $6.00 for the day.
We will be exploring nature trails in an eight-acre area that is exclusively reserved for snowshoeing. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy the wintery scenery, get some fresh air, and (if we are lucky) watch some wildlife. If there isn’t much snow we can just improvise with a hike. Regardless of what we end up doing, the pace will be moderate and no-one will be left behind. After the hike, those who are interested can meet up for brunch, lunch, cocktails or mocktails at the Creekside Cafe & Lounge. We can also take some time to plan our upcoming outdoor adventures.
