About the movie - TUR and ENG
Yusuf Atılgan’s famous novel, adapted to silver screen by Ömer Kavur, focuses on Zebercet, a manager at a hotel in a small town village in the 80’s. Zebercet’s passion for a woman who comes with the Ankara train
to stay at his hotel for one night will slowly turn into an obsession. And when he starts denying customers the hotel will become even more suffocating and overwhelming for him. Considered as one of the best examples of Turkish Cinema, Motherland Hotel meets the audience with a special restored copy of the original version.
