Be transported around the globe in one evening at Protected content is an artistic hub famous for featuring some of the best professional storytellers in the city. However, the expansive venue also hosts a diverse array of exhibitions, dance parties, and musical guests from around the world.

Get off the hectic streets of Amsterdam and settle intoProtected content cozy floor cushions for a night of tall tales and real-life stories told by professional storytellers.

Enjoy live jazz, improvisation or world music from South America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Catch stand-up or improv comedians in the act. Or, get up off the floor and dance the night away.

The friendly, casual atmosphere at Protected content means that visitors and locals alike will feel at home, no matter what’s on the agenda. Entrance to most events is free, but donations are welcome. That means you’ll have some extra change in your pocket for a drink at the bar or a delicious bowl of authentic Iranian soup!

Samizdat is the next addition to the Friday night storytelling line up. A night of exciting and moving stories about the individual taking risks for what they believe in. Stories of revolt and revolutions, rebellion and regret. Drink up and buckle up comrade. This is going to be a wild ride!

The doors will be open from 19:00 p.m., we will meet at 19:30 to find a good seat. Because it is a free seats concept and who comes first gets the best seat.

The evenings ar all in English and are free. Please be generous with your donation though, because that will pay the rent ;-)
