Too Much of Anything Is Bad but Too Much Champagne Is Just Right
*** This event will be in Spanish ****
A couple of month ago our dear friend and sommelier, Ariel, taught us how to better enjoy a glass of wine and what to look for.
This time, he will teach us useful tips on sparkling wines, easy techniques to open bottles safely, to recognize different types of products by labels and its characteristics, and to find the right flavor for you.
You will need to get a chilled uncorked bottle of sparkling wine, a wine glass (better if it is a sparkling wine glass), some crackers or rice crackers or a piece of bread, and water. That's it!
And if you are not sure about attending, check what these other InterNations members are saying:
"Remember gentlemen, it's not just France we are fighting for, it's Champagne!", Sir Winston Churchill, IN Consul in London.
"Too much of anything is bad, but too much Champagne is just right", Mr. Mark Twain, Albatross member from Missouri
"I drink champagne when I win, to celebrate... and I drink champagne when I lose, to console myself", Napoleon Bonaparte, one on the IN Ambassadors in Paris
And my favorite: "I only drink Champagne on two occasions, when I am in love and when I am not", Coco Chanel, a regular co-host from Austin, Texas ;-)
