Day Trip and Hike to Ales Stenar (AKA Sweden’s Stonehenge)
With the weather improving let's do a trip to Sweden again.
This time to visit Sweden's Stonehenge - Ale's Stones (Ale stenar).
We'll take a train fro Copenhagen to Malmo Hyllie, then one to Ystad, and then a bus to Kabusa. From there we have a good 8km hike to Ales Stenar (partially following Skaneleden trail) with beautiful views along the way. Ales Stenar is an amazing spot on a cliff overlooking the sea. Take lots of photos!
Bring warm clothes, it can be windy. :-)
Bring food/water for lunch. No open shops along the way.
Return hike (8 km) to the same bus or a bit longer Protected content to a direct train back to Malmo.
What to bring: depending on the weather: warm clothes, rain protective jacket, food/lunch/snacks, drinks, hiking shoes (might be a bit muddy), and a good mood.
On the way back we can have dinner/food in Ystad or in Malmo.
Tickets: Rejsekort till Malmo OR all via the Skanetraffiken app. May make sense to buy the latter as a group - cheaper. We can handle that when we know the group, or you just buy individually.
