Parade of sculpures in a market!
Get ready to see a market invaded by the magnetic fantasy of Clédat & Petitpierre. Conceived as a carnival parade, La parade moderne is a sculptural work in movement, a march that explodes the imagination and whose protagonists are characters loosely inspired by the pictorial works of the great masters of the first half of the twentieth century: Magritte, Ernst, De Chirico, Lèger, Munch, Arp, Malevic.
This bizarre parade shows the course of contemporary art, or, in the eyes of a younger audience, the existence of magical creatures led by a small fanfare that interprets the theme of Ravel's Bolero and leads the dances. The Parade Moderne is a public art experiment that can reinvent the meeting spaces of the city through the icons of modern art and their irreverent energy.
We can meet half an hour before the parade, follow it together and then go the surrounding baby park to let our sons play...if the weather allows, we can have a quick lunch together!
