Songs of Love and War: Symphony at the Banyan Tree Ballroom
A lot of you enjoyed the Siam Sinfonietta's performance of Mahler's Seventh in August. This is much more intimate event and we'll have some lovely music, a mixologist and full bar on call before, after, and in the intermission, some light food ... and the Banyan Tree is offering other perks as well, like a dinner discount when you show your ticket, good for about a month.
Siam Sinfonietta, Calliope Chamber Choir and soloists have assembled a delightful program under the baton of Somtow Sucharitkul.
Including: Songs of Love and War by Claudio Monteverdi - selections from an epic work for singers and musicians by the "father of opera". Vivaldi's delicate concerto for mandolin and orchestra. Rossini's rollicking "William Tell Overture" ... and Schumann's passionate Symphony No. 3. And more!
And all accompanied by drinks from a lavish mixology area and delicious food from Banyan Tree's award-winning kitchens!
Cocktails and food from 6 — your ticket also gets you discounts on Banyan Tree's fabulous restaurants and services!
Bar remains open afterwards and I and the performance will meet and hang out with members in the lobby area after the show.
