Valentine-Making Event for People in Need
For our February InterNations Changemakers event, we'll be helping to bring a little happiness to those in need for Valentine's Day on Feb. 10 from Protected content pm.
We'll be working with Big Sunday on their annual Valentine making event. We'll create Valentine's Day cards and provide food for the homeless and trafficked youth at Covenant House, a non-profit shelter for kids Protected content old. Cards will also be distributed to nonprofits throughout SoCal including Pacifica Hospital, Inner City Child Development, Wilson High School, North Hollywood Alliance and many more.
They'd also love our help bringing non-perishable food to donate to Covenant House. Soups, canned meat, cereal, peanut butter are all great items to bring with you to the event.
After we create our Valentine's and help assemble goodie bags and decorate cookies, we'll share a community dinner together. We may even help in the preparation of the meal.
Space is limited so please text me once you sign up on this site and are committed to attending. If you are no longer able to make it, please cancel your attendance on this site so we can make room for others and also have an accurate headcount.
Use the InterNations name when you check-in to the event.
Look for street parking on June or Cherokee, just west of the building and south of Melrose.
Look forward to working with you to bring some Valentine's cheer to those in need!
