Easter Basket Making for Kids in Need

Hello Changemakers!
It’s been a rough two years and we’ve missed seeing you and helping others. We’re excited to re-start our regular monthly in-person events, helping those in need around Los Angeles.
So let’s kick things off by bringing some cheer to kids in the area.
We’ll be making Easter baskets for children who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, orphaned, developmentally or learning-disabled, homeless, runaways, or those whose lives have been adversely impacted by HIV / AIDS.
We’ll assemble baskets with grass, candy, toys, stickers, and a sealed toothbrush to try and help bring a little joy to kids who may be struggling.
You're welcome to bring a bag of wrapped candies to add to the festivities.
All volunteers are required to wear a mask and be fully vaccinated.
I’ll post our exact location inside the America Legion on the day of the event, or feel free to text or call me so we can all meet up.
The Entrance Is behind the building via the parking lot for The American Legion.
There is also street parking.
We look forward to seeing you and helping some kids in need!
