Hola! Flamenco Festival + Party

Hola ”in Spanish means“ hello ”and in Greek“ everything ”!
The "Hola (all) flamenco Festival", is coming again, for the 5th year in Athens, to connect Spanish with Greek culture and different types of music, with flamenco! From 18 to 19 June
All Flamenco in a unique celebration that brings Andalusia to Greece!
Flamenco was born in Andalusia from a mixture of gypsy and local culture. It is a kind of art that has at its core the concepts of collectivity and coexistence, struggle and power.
This year, the festival invites 3 different orchestras and traditional music choirs to collaborate with our artists and thus highlight the flamenco's contact with specific types of music but also the simple coexistence of musicians and cultures, through dance and song.
Starting early with a party on the pedestrian street of Ermou, in Thiseio, with music by Giota Kotseta (Kosmos fm)
Day 1 Line up:
Flamenco dance: Maria Mandragou, Thetis Missiou, Maria Skentou, Group of Jessica Kaimbali .
Music: Alba Guerrero (vocals), Stavros Pressis (guitar)
Guests: Ferket el Anwar – Oriental Orchestra – collaboration with dancer Nadia Zagli and guitarist Stavros Pressis, Epirus Polyphonic Choir Vangelis Kotsis – collaboration with the dancer Giota Peklari
