Balkan Cultures : Conference & Cocktail
The Balkans are usually said to comprise: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey. It is a territory of South-Eastern Europe where many ethnic groups live together and form an immense cultural mosaic. They have often been the actors of conflict, but let’s remember that they set the foundations of European civilization.
The conference "Cultural diversity of the Balkans" will talk about them -the peoples from Balkans. Two university professors, a journalist and a writer will inform us about certain cultural and social issues concerning the Balkans today. See the program here:
The conference will be followed by a cocktail at 8 p.m. We will enjoy Balkans’ specialties. It will be an excellent opportunity for tasting Slovenian wines.
The event will not be over this evening, because the Conference & Cocktail is just first element of event "Balkan Days" which will continue the next day at the place Sathonay with a cultural program. You are welcome too!
