Six Days, Six Nights - Vernissage of Hiroshi McDonald Mori
Jacobihaus at Protected content will present new works of American Japanese artist Hiroshi McDonald Mori that explores Alternative Photographic Techniques like Cyanotype and uses the medium of photography and sculpture to explore cultural identity and traditional art disciplines.
The Vernissage takes place on Tuesday, 7th November at 7 pm.
the exhibition will be open until Dec 3rd.
About the artist:
Hiroshi McDonald Mori received his MFA with Honors from Bard College and his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has attended residencies at Skowhegan and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation. His work has been displayed in the San Diego Museum of Art (US), Axel Springer (DE), Guggenheim Collection (DE), Chelsea Center for the Arts (US), Aando Fine Art (DE), Human Resources (US), Performa (US), DD55 (DE), Boston Institute for Contemporary Art (US), Studio Museum Harlem (US), Rogaland Kunstsenter (NO), Warhol Museum (US), the American College of Greece (GR), Athens Biennale (GR), and New Museum (US) among others.
