Hi everyone!
all weather forecasts for next Sunday are currently positive.
Sun, no rain and about 20 C°.
Which is better then to enjoy the last warm days of the year on an adventurous hike admit of beautiful natural landscape? So let´s go all together to the Eifel park!
I found an interesting hiking route. We will follow the tracks of the old Roman aqueduct which once brought water to the ancient inhabitants of Cologne, including Agrippina with her glamorous friends.
These are the basic informations:
The route we will bring us from the station of Nettersheim (where we could eventually also visit the Eifel park information center) along the route of the aqueduct until the small village of Kall.
From there we will catch the train back to Cologne, arriving in the city at about 18.15 pm.
distance: 15 km
time: 4 to 5 hours
Lowest/highest point: 405/517 m
Difficulty: easy (so do not worry tot much about fitness state or particular sport shoes)
You can find further informations and details here: Protected content

- albeit the weather forecast is currently - as I write - very good, God Janus is unpredictable as always and can generate unpleasantly storms, especially when he is currently compelling about the unhappy end of his last flirt. So, please check this page for last-minute confirmation on Saturday 14 on the evening!
- Bring your hiking gear, suitable shoes, enough water and food with you. We will certainly take a break during our hike.
- everyone is responsible for his/her own safety. But do not worry! we´ll don’t you leave alone with the wolfs in case of troubles. we are all concerned homo sapiens exemplars!

Meeting point is Protected content Train to Nettersheim starts at 9.21. Please be punctual, because we will have to organize the group tickets. We could use Wochenende-ticket, albeit I think a lot of people do have long-time tickets and could bring eventually other persons with them.
If someone wants to reach Nettersheim with his/her own car, please let me know in advance. For any question am I at your full disposal.

see you there and best wishes,

Janus is with us! 22 °, sun, 0% rain.
important note:
let me know how many of you do already posses a VRS-valid ticket, and if you are able to bring a person with your ticket.
So I can begin to organize the ticket situation a little bit in advance.
I have for example a flat rate for NRW and I can take a person with me.

Thanks a lot for your your massive subscription to this event!
