Dance Performance: Spontan#8 (research about female sexuality)
"Caught between a capitalist industry that oversexualizes the female body, puritanical traditions that fear female sexuality and anti-feminist movements that embed women in sexual victim status is still in place Long way to go before women can be free with their bodies and sexual desires. This dance performance counteracts a Western patriarchally traditional world of images that produces an idea of sexuality shaped by male fantasies.
To overcome this stalled view, let's work with a non-narrative, nonlinear way of depicting the images. It's more about creating an atmosphere that counteracts a mass media idea of female sexuality. We want to work with the woman's body, which is seen not as an object but as a place of feeling, sensations and power. The play will be a mirror of the idea of an unrepresentable fantasy that does not allow restrictions on forms. For this purpose, I would like to create, among other things, artistic materials that play with metaphors, abstraction or decontextualization of a sexual act or fantasy. My idea is to create a dance piece where any movement or scenic action may or may not have a sexual connotation. "
