Let's watch this movie by Pedro Almodovar together at the Cologne Filmfestival.

Here's the story: War reporter Martha, who is suffering from cancer, asks a former colleague to accompany her on one last journey. The road trip ends in a bungalow in the woods of upstate New York. Pedro Almodóvar's touching, tender melodrama, his 23rd film and his first in English, was the deserved winner of the Golden Lion in Venice. His typically rich primary colours have a wonderfully autumnal tone in this meditation on death, art and friendship. And Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore once again shine in the leading roles.
