Vietnam meets Bologna ; Tet Trung Thu (Moon celebration)
It is one of Asia's most important celebrations in general and in Vietnam in particular. Born to celebrate the end of a beautiful harvest, with time it has become a holiday dedicated to children.
The organized party will be exactly the authentic tradition, with the legend of the moon, the popular childrens games, the dragon dance, the children's parade with drum-colored lanterns, a tribute to the children and finally the tasting of "Phácỗ" desserts and typical fruit of the occasion, originally displayed on a lacquered tray.
We invite all participants to bring a sweet or salty dish to their party and a drink that forms a common buffet and ask those who are not members of the association (with the exception of children) to pay a contribution of 5 euro to support part of organizational expenses (music, cleaning, children's gifts, decorations) and enjoy the dessert of the Trungthu sweets. It is appropriate for everyone to communicate the dish they intend to bring to balance sweet and savory and complete what is missing.
Those who fail to bring the culinary contribution are kindly asked to inform the organizers (lady Huong) who will provide a Vietnamese meal at a cost of 15 euros. You can choose between; Banh tom (crispy crepes with sweet potato and shrimp) banh Goi (vietnamese half moon shaped empanada stuffed with pork and mushrooms) and vietnamese coconut curry chicken.
See you there
