What Does it Really Mean to be "Mindful"?
Did you know that practicing Mindfulness can create actual changes in the Brain?!
Mindfulness has been scientifically shown to decrease pain, lower blood pressure, drop stress levels, promotes better sleep, decreases anxiety and lift depression.
Mindfulness brings enrichment to your everyday life and helps increase pleasure for you and all those around you!
In this first activity, we will talk about what Mindfulness is and what it really means to be "Mindful". We will discuss and explore all the ways in which we can be more Mindful. We will do some Mindful breathing to begin and end the activity. Bring your Curiosity!
JUNE- We will start to break Mindfulness up into "The Five Senses". We begin to focus on each of the senses individually. (Sight, Sound, Touch, Smell and Taste). Be ready to experience the senses in a different way!
Looking forward to meeting you!
