Life Worth Living
Amaris means ‘you are loved’ in Latin, and Amaris Salon is a gathering of people around the table for mutual encouragement, enrichment, and inspiration to pursue a life worth living. The goal of Amaris Salon is to offer a hospitable, healing presence as well as a place for individuals from different walks of life to feel valued, safe and free to engage in honest and heartfelt conversation about what is and how to live a life worth living.
The gathering will reflect upon some basic dimensions of life, and participants will be encouraged to engage in honest and heartfelt conversation find their own answer to what makes for a life worth living.
This week, we will explore the first step of applying 'design thinking' to our own life -- which is "Starting Where You Are."
"Design thinking can help you build your way forward from wherever you are, regardless of the life design problem you are facing. But first, you need to know where you are and what design problems you are trying to solve... Deciding which problems to work on may be one of the most important decisions you make, because people can lose years (or a lifetime) working on the wrong problem. " (Bill Burnett & Dave Evans)
