Online Conversation on "Our Relationship With Silence"
For our next ZOOM salon gathering, Eduardo Giordanelli will lead us in a conversation on “Our relationship with silence and how we can use our forced isolation to cultivate wisdom instead of stress”.
One of our most basic, instinctual fears is the fear of being alone, and one of the worst condemnation you can inflict on a prisoner is the isolation cell. However, as Alan Wallace pointed out in Protected content , isolation is also something sought after ardently by saints, mystics and those searching for wisdom.
Solitude and silence are an indispensable necessity of life or a gift of time. Things that need attention tend to rise up when we are silent, sometimes things we didn’t even know were an issue, and silence gives us time to work through them and heal. Think of silence like a river. Once the first layers of mud are cleared away, the stones underneath become uncovered and can be washed away as well.
Join us on Thursday, March 26th for an evening of ZOOM online conversation with Eduardo Giordanelli on “Our Relationship with Silence.” Eduardo is a life coach and a facilitator. His area of expertise is transformative learning, so his main activity is helping both organizations and individuals to overcome their resistance to change and their limiting fears. After studying Engineering in the University of Florence, he got a MSC in Education in the UK. He also completed professional training in the USA (Harvard, Standford, University of Massachusetts).
