Moving Meditation: 108 Sun Salutations
Join us for the last regular Tuesday yoga class on Geneva Yoga Spirit Group.
We will celebrate the spring coming and learn Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), that is practiced by yogis since thousands years and could become the core of you personal yoga practice at home!
During this class we will learn the perfect sequence of 12 yoga postures, combining movements with breath and Sanskrit mantras. Yoga teacher Edita will introduce and guide you through 54 sets of Protected content salutations, flowing mindfully and finishing with a deep relaxation.
Surya Namaskara (Skt. सूर्य नमस्कार, sūrya namaskāra) is a very ancient yogi ritual and technique of salutation to the Sun, paying respect or expressing gratitude to the sun that is the source of all forms of life on the planet.
All levels are welcome! No previous experience required.
After the practice to all who wish (and is able) to stay longer - we will head to Café Restaurant de Grange-Canal (which is near by: Route de Chêne 65, Protected content for a drink, meal or a couple of nice moments together.
