Communication Skills for Healthy Relationships
After a popular events since January our guest speaker Martin Ucik will be back! Not to be missed!
Join Integral Relationship expert Martin Ucik and the Internations community to learn and practice how to effectively communicate with different kinds of people in various life-situations.
We will explore how feminine and masculine people at eight levels of consciousness development use different language to share what is Good (Ethical/Moral), True, Beautiful, and Practical to them, and how they communicate differently to have their needs and desires met.
These advanced “Integral” communication skills will allow you to create mutual understanding and agreement, and to effectively coordinate your actions with others. This leads to healthier and mutual beneficial relationships with your romantic partner, family members, friends, co-workers, community, and social network.
We will explore and practice the following topics:
- Left and right brain functions
- Fear and shame
- Showing curiosity without judgment
- Setting healthy boundaries
- Discourse ethics, rules and norms
- Focusing on interests rather than positions
- Thinking Win-Win
- Agreeing to disagree & focusing on shared interests and needs
- Sharing observations, feelings, needs and requests
- Making empathy guesses
- Dialectic (thesis – antitheses – synthesis)
- Advancement into novelty
- Critical realism
