Do you know what an izakaya is? An I (居) + sakaya (酒 屋) is a typical Japanese bar or restaurant that all Japanese go to after work to drink and eat something.
Although they have their origin in Japan and it is where they have acquired their fame, you will find izakayas in the most cosmopolitan places in the world. Palma could not be missing from the list of multicultural cities where you can find an authentic Japanese tavern, so we wanted to transfer this growing gastronomic trend to the well-known Santa Catalina neighborhood.
