I am thrilled to be announcing the first of a mini series of workshops in the art of drawing!
Join us to learn how to draw objects and people, using pencils and charcoal in minutes. There will be three or four workshops, taught by a professional artist, in the next twelve months that will help us understand pencil grip, dimension and perspective, shadow and colour.
This is the first in the series.

The Workshop:Protected content
Afterwards, we will walk to the Art Gallery to visit Leonardo DaVinci's exhibition of 12 drawings, together with the teacher. The exhibition is part of the global celebration of Protected content from his death.
After the visit, we could go for a light bite or drinks to the Belgian pub Bock on Tib Lane.

* Workshop: £5, which covers tuition and materials
* Room: 6p per minute that includes access to a buffet of hot and cold beverages, snacks, sandwiches, yogurts, fruit, and cake (self-service kitchen). They provide free WiFi. Protected content have offered us a discount, as normal rate is 8p).
* Art Gallery: free entry
Opening times: Mon - Sun, 10: Protected content
* Bock: we pay our own bill
