Mindful Events: Talk&Coffee
Dear group members,
You are invited to a series of Mindful events. Every meeting has theoretical and practical parts - we will talk about mindful approach to happier living, try a mindful tool and train a new helpful habit. All of it in a friendly atmosphere with a cup of coffee.
Are you good at dealing with stress and difficult communications? You are welcome to propose any topic or situation you find stressful. We will discuss how Mindfulness Values like Acceptance, Letting go, Patience, Non-Striving, etc can help us handle our daily stressful situations.
Some Mindfulness techniques are called formal meditations - you can do them in a quiet place like home or studio. They work if done regularly - that is why they are called practices.
The other ones are informal techniques - we can apply them as tools anywhere and any time or incorporate them into daily routines. Examples - mindful walking or eating, mindful breathing, etc.
What’s a helpful strategy to deal with stressful situations? How can we trigger a helpful habit instead of indulging into unhealthy habits or avoiding a problem?
Although all of the above sounds very serious we will have some fun and spend a relaxed evening after work. We will meet in a Starbucks, have a coffee and talk about life. See you there!
