Let's Go Cycling At Hell’s Gate!
Located 110km (1.30 hrs) from Nairobi, Hell’s Gate National Park is one of the most spectacular places on earth, a park where you are allowed to get close to the wild animals.
If you have not been here or just want to go again, then this is a perfect opportunity to do so, with a vibrant group of cyclists!
The main features of the Event include:
-Roadtrip from Nairobi to Hell’s Gate in Naivasha and back
-Stop over at the Rift Valley view point for a photo session and panoramic view of the surrounding Mai Mahiu escarpment
- Warm up session for professional cyclists – checking bikes before the ride/ Introduction to cycling and basic cycling rules for amateurs
-Cycling through awesome scenery and dirt road tracks accessible all through the year amidst wildlife such as warthogs, antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, gazelles, etc and eroded limestone towers and fingers striking up out of the earth; to the gorges
-Short hike into the Hell’s Gate gorges, up to the devil’s kitchen and the devil’s bedroom
-Cycling back to the main entrance gate
(or if tired the van will be accompanying us so you can hop in, but definitely better to ride with the rest of us)
Citizens – KES 3,400 pp
Residents – KES 3,800 pp
Non-Residents – KES 6,200 pp (Kids below 12yrs KES 4,800)
The cost package caters for:-
-Transport from Nairobi and back in a spacious tour bus
-Entry fee to the park
-Well-serviced mountain bike (Or bring your own)
-Bike entry charges- if you bring your own
-Van entry charges
-Seasoned tour guide
-1litre Mineral water
You will carry:-
-Light backpack to carry water and snacks
-Comfortable clothes and shoes
-Extra 1 litre water
-Snacks and drink for lunch
-Sunscreen, Sun glasses and hat
-Some pocket money
