Ready to Join?

Have you.....
 Cycled in the wild to a Maasai Village?
 Then flown off in a hot air balloon; in the wild?

If not then why not?
Very very thrilling.

July to October is a peak season for Maasai mara, in time to witness the great wildebeest migration. So don't miss out!

DAY1 - NRB to Maasai MaraProtected content

DAY2 - Cycling, Maasai Villlage visit, Hiking up a hill
 Next Saturday morning after breakfast, armed with water and picnic lunches prepared by our hosts; we will head out on our hired bikes with Masai guides to see two Maasai Villages and hike a hill nearby.
This is around 10 km ride and a 2hr hike.
It will be a leisurely ride in the African bush where game viewing most certainly is the objective; as opposed to a race.
The van will be with us all the way in case anyone gets tired. ;)

 Later in the evening, we will get back to the camp and head for Protected content

Being directly on the banks of Mara River you can watch the game come to drink or hippos wallowing while you relax with a beer on the verandah of your banda. The Resort also has a number of interesting house pets – a baby zebra, a gazelle and an impala!

DAY3 - Balloon Ride, Champagne Breakfast, Game Drive, Return to NRB
 The following Sunday morning we will be picked up by the Hot air balloon drivers and head out to the launch site in Masai Mara and have some coffee before take-off at 6.00AM. (This is an optional activity)
Protected content after the flight we will have a full champagne breakfast in the wild, under an acacia tree; surrounded by wildebeeste, zebras, antelopes and other animals. Armed Rangers will be with us to offer protection.
We will each get a certificate from the Balloon Pilot and a chance to chat and mingle. Bring a flash drive as we will also get some pics from the Balloon Procam!

 For those not going for the balloon flight will go on a safari in the tour van, following the balloons, then join us for the champagne breakfast after the balloons land.

 Since balloons only go in the direction of the wind, we can not get a ride back. We will head back to our camp in the retriever vans later on after the breakfast, where we will encounter more wild animals.

 We will carry our packed lunch then head back to Nairobi by 5.00PM.
