Let’s experience a different side of Kenya, a side that Kenya is famous for, a side that boosts the Kenyan economy. Here is an experience of Kenya’s black gold; Kenyan coffee! This will be a coffee tour that will take us through the journey that coffee has to go through before getting to our cups!

The lush green country-side environment is dotted with scenic hills, smooth valley and fresh country air and is Protected content of coffee at a green farm with Mixed farming – cows, goats and chicken

Distance from Nairobi: 45km; 1hr drive in Thika
Distance to be covered on the bike: 16km total, 2.30hrs morning cycling
Terrain: Easy - Hilly terrain,

THE MAIN FEATURES OF THE EVENT
1.Arrive at 8am and mingle over a cup of tea or coffee.
2.Then pick our bikes and head out. (There will be two guides)
3.Have our picnic lunch at a designated place
4.Return to the farm 2pm for a Tour
5.Short tour of the farm and the process of coffee process from the young seedling to water processing, drying and coffee hurling.
6.Afternoon coffee tasting of different coffee grades, types, flavors and varieties of coffee paired with various pastries, outside in the lush gardens. Opportunity to buy coffee, jam or honey
7.Leave for Nairobi at 4pm
