Ready to Join?

Dear Explorers,
I would like to invite you to explore "A BEAST, A GOD, AND A LINE. ART, RELIGION, AND WOVEN KNOWLEDGE IN TODAY'S ASIA/ PACIFIC" current exhibition in Museum on the Vistula - Museum of Modern Art on Sunday, the 2nd of September. Afterwards, we will explore avant-garde take on Polish pierogis in Le'pię pierogi bar.

We will start with a bit of culture. I will be waiting for you there around 11:00, near the Protected content
After seeing the exhibition (I have planned about 2 hours for the whole visit in the museum), we will walk to Le'pię pierogi bar (about 10-minut walk), The pierogi bar is known for their unique take on pierogi as one can find there pierogi with such non-standard stuffing as for example: potato/ broad bean/ black truffle/ thyme, green veggies/ grapefruit/ ponzu/ salad, black pudding/ apricot/ scallion/ mustard seeds, beef/ burgundy sauce/ low-salt cucumber/ smoked garlic. So, both meat lovers and vegetarians will find something for themselves in their menu.

About the exhibition:
"A Beast, a God, and a Line" is an invitation to take a look at contemporary history from the perspective of Asia and the Pacific in this moment of global uncertainty and a crumbling of the western order that dominated for centuries. The show’s artists pose courageous questions and thoughtfully explore the new, fragmented reality of our world today.
Curated by Cosmin Costinas, director of Para Site contemporary art centre in Hong Kong, the exhibition welds a narrative of Asia and the Pacific as a universum of intense, diversified relations that made up a thick cultural fabric long before the region was subjugated by colonial hegemony. The show of over 50 artists from across the region, including Cambodia, India, Vietnam, Madagascar, Bangladesh, Philippines, and Australia sets a foundation for the possibility for taking a deeper glimpse into this complex region of the world in both its political and artistic sense."
