Soul of a Nation- FREE Saturdays, Film Screening, Docent Tour
As promised, organizing another day to check out this very important and powerful exhibit plus a FREE activity happening around it!
The Fine Arts is hosting Free Saturdays for all Bay Area residents. However, entering the special exhibit, Soul of a Nation, is not free.
Let's check out the free film screening of “Agents of Change” with Directors Abby Ginzberg and Frank Dawson. This will take place at the Koret Auditorium from 12pm-3pm. Since it's free, this will be at first come first serve basis, with theater tickets being passed out at the door at 11am.
We'll meet in the cafe at 10:30am then head to the auditorium to get our tickets and get seated. Afterwards, we can check out the exhibit, hang out for lunch at the museum cafe or head elsewhere nearby/in the park.
If you don't want to see the film and paid for the exhibit, there will be a free Docent Tour from 1:30pm-2:30pm.
You are responsible to get your own tickets, free or paid, here: Protected content
As it's a free day, the museum is expected to draw a crowd, so please plan accordingly. I recommend carpooling, taking ride share or public transportation. If you're driving, there is paid parking at the museum and limited street parking on either side of the park.
