How to Become a Digital DJ - Basics and Theory

If you are interested in mixing music, make your own mix sets and perform at home or an event, I invite you to become an amateur DJ, the So-called ''Bed Room DJ''.

You can be a professional club or performance DJ but keep in your mind that learning how to DJ is not an overnight activity but It’s not difficult to start. For some people, DJing is purely a hobby. They do it solely for the enjoyment of mixing music. It’s personal music therapy or enjoying mixing in small groups or with friends.

I am a ''Pioneer DJ Academy'' Certified DJ. This online event could be a good start to DJing “For The Love” and learn how to become a ''Laptop DJ'' first. I would like to cover the following topics to give you an ''idea'' about:
- What DJs Do
- Determining Your Goals
- DJ Software - Digital DJing and Controllers
- Basic DJ Skills
- Overall what you need to know to start to become an amateur DJ.

Depending on the audience and focus group, we can organize more detailed sessions to cover how to set up and use SW & HW, Theory and Basic DJing techniques, beatmatching, mixing, effects, and so on...
