Craft Beer in a Secret Palace Tunnel
We will restart our group enjoying great craft beer made on-site. It is located inside a tunnel that served as the way for the horses to get to Palácio das Necessidades, where the King lived at the time, and today is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It also served as the escape route for the last king of Portugal, D. Manuel II, in Protected content , when Republicans shot at the Palace and ended the Monarchy in Portugal.
Nowadays it is a PUB / RESTAURANT, a NY Deli special sandwiches produced with Beer Braised Meats (YES, they cook their meats in craft beer) and they offer a large range of starters to pair a good drink inside the bricks of this XVIII century cave. There are also wonderful Hot Dogs made with Artisanal German Sausages by Maria Wurst brand with home made Sauerkraut. Come for a full experience of drinks, food and Portuguese history.
