Taste Culture- Mid-Autumn Festival dinner with handmade mooncake
Hope you all are doing well.
In October there is an important traditional Chinese festival - Mid-Autumn Festival. This is a harvest and gathering festival celebrated by Chinese since Shang Dynasty. It's held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar with full moon at night.
Traditionally the festival celebrates with many cultural and regional customs, such as lighting lanterns, dragon/lion dance, eating mooncake etc.
For this traditional festival, I'd like to invite you to an authentic Chinese restaurant in Düsseldorf to experience culture and taste handmade mooncake which the restaurant specially make for this festival.
