Dear All, thanks to the wonderful consuls ( Bachar and Malika ) of this group, I have the permission to post this activity. I'm an hospitality professional, working in the hospitality business since Protected content I would like to discuss with you about this topic, during an afterwork drink with all of you in a very elegant and charming location.

Do you know E-tourism ? in a few words : the analysis, design, implementation, and application of IT and e-commerce solutions in the travel & tourism industry.

In a competitive industry, every Hotel and Resort needs an effective online marketing strategy to promote their property, drive traffic to their website and generate guest bookings.
With the arrival of internet Search, traditional marketing outlets such as TV advertising, Radio and Newspapers have become less and less effective. In a tech-savvy time in which most people expect to find the information they need within just a few clicks of their mouse, a strong internet presence for the property isn't just a necessity, it's crucial for survival.

The E-Tourism Hotel Marketing strategy is about making sure guests can find the hotel - and fast - next time they are planning a trip online. How about you ? how do you search for an hotel when you decide to book a trip?

The strategy initially focuses on the design and usability of the website. The next stage of Hotel Marketing strategy is Search. Initially the focus is on Search Engines - Google, Yahoo and Bing - but also set a foundation for the increasingly popular trend towards ‘Social Search,' which combines traditional search results with personalised content pulled from the searcher's Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts.

Search marketing within a Hotel Marketing strategy combines multiple techniques from Keyword Analysis, Website Optimisation, Keyword Optimisation, Inbound Link Strategies and Content Creation strategies to ensure the property's website gets noticed by the search engines, and ultimately, the guests.

An E-Tourism Hotel Marketing strategy may include the management of social networking, content creation and a blogging strategy.

In today's social media obsessed world, a social network presence is an essential way to establish an online community, engage with guests and drive more online reservations.It's important to create, brand and manage a profile for the Hotel, Resort or Apartments on sites like Facebook and Twitter, to boost the online visibility and get people talking about the property.

Blogging is the perfect way to open up the lines of communication between the hotel and guests by keeping them up to date on news and exciting offers and encouraging their own input in the comments section. Regular blogs help establish the property as an industry authority and show off the human, less corporate side of the business.
