Darlington Arts Festival - WA’s iconic Hills Festival
The Darlington Arts Festival has become one of the Hill’s most popular annual events. It features art exhibitions for adults, youth and children, art workshops, craft and cottage industry market stalls, and non-stop entertainment on the main stage all in a festival atmosphere situated in the leafy hills suburb of Darlington.
Last year, thousands of festival goers from all over Perth flocked to Darlington to enjoy the art exhibitions, the entertainment, the art workshops, the food and craft stalls and to relax at the Wine Tent.
Business starts officially on Saturday morning at 10 am with stalls and exhibitions ready for you to come on by. Doors close at 5 pm on Saturday… but the Performing arts continue on with Glen Sturrock then the Worn Out Worn Art parade at 5.15 – 6.30 pm. The wine tent will be there with some live music until later.
Sunday will be the day for the InterNations group to go. So, come and meet me at Protected content at 11:00 AM. We'll walk around the stalls and the area and 12:30 pm the Hills Big Band will be live on stage. (You will spot a familiar face on bass).
This will be your once-a-year chance to have a most enjoyable weekend and be entertained in so many different ways up in the Hills.
Hope to see you there!
