Weekend Social: Introduction To Embroidery with Seoul Designer
To celebrate the arrival of spring and the opening of his Salon Exhibition; Seoul based fashion designer and artist Gio Lee has agreed to host introductory Korean embroidery workshops on the theme of “The Seasonal Trees of Korea”.
Gio is an incredible talent who has spent the last 9 years in Milan working with haute couture fashion houses such as Francesco Ballestrazzi, Moschino, Joann Tan Studio and Elena Borghi Studio. He will be teaching basic traditional embroidery over the course of the 4 hours workshop. Alongside Gio, you will learn about the history of Korean embroidery and embroidering your own springtime tree.
This is an exclusive price for us; as his hourly rate alone is usually double the price of this ticket for advance classes. It includes the cost of material and the use tools i.e. fabric, colour threads, scissors, thimble and embroidery frame.
