Mindful actions 1.0: Gratitude at Work (OpenIdeo opportunity)
I would like to share with you an opportunity for collaboration. This is a community project aimed to help us gather evidence for an upcoming Openideo challenge. So if you got the right mindset, skills or expertese, sign UP. :-)
"OpenIDEO is a global community working together to design solutions for the world's biggest challenges. Participate. Use design thinking for issues you care about." Protected content
You don't need to be based in London in order to apply, as most of the meetings will be arranged online. You would only need to be someone verry passionate about this topic and willing to commit some time for making things happen.
Background: According to a Protected content study, organisations that apply values-based recognition practices experience lower turnover, higher employee
engagement, improved team relationships and a more ‘human’ workplace culture.
Still, gratitude remains a challenge, as autocratic leadership strategies and rigid organisational structures are a constant trigger for workplace dissatisfaction.
Gratitude unfolds inside the mind, and one's personality, attitudes or coping style can interfere with our behaviour unknowingly.
In this series of events we will adopt the rapid prototyping process for applying the responsive writing framework to some of the most pressing social issues. This allows us to develop a useful tool for social change and to also become the co-authors of a brief responsive book on gratitude at the workplace.
By signing up to this activity, you agree to:
• Actively engage in the writing process (1.000 words/month).
• Provide relevant support to other members for developing their work.
• Attend most of our group meetings for the following three months.
• Join a private slack channel for keeping this project on track.
• Publish our work on the ResponsivEbooks platform.
More details will be provided on the day.
Sorry, but you are not allowed to join this Activity Group!
We are afraid that you cannot join, because the Group Consuls have limited access to this Activity Group.
