The poetry of the moment: the Haiku
SUMMER WORKSHOP [THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL]
The workshop is aimed at the non-specialized public that wants to know and enjoy the work of the main exponents of Japanese haiku. The workshop will be free with free entry (previous registration).
The workshop is divided into three units:
UNIT I: Overview of the Haiku
UNIT II: Haiku in the West
UNIT III: Haiku as an experience in school
It is proposed, from a panoramic perspective, to study the works of Matsuo Bashō, Kobayashi Issa, Yosa Buson and Masaoka Shiki, as well as those of some Western poets, with special emphasis on the Peruvians Javier Sologuren and Alfonso Cisneros Cox. The aim is to make haiku known not only as a contemplative poetic form but also as a social practice and a meaningful and integral experience in the school capable of cultivating sensitivity in our students and thus stimulate interculturality and the innovative proposal of the appreciative approach against the communicational approach currently in force in the education system. To achieve this critical and reflective development, which will then lead to deeper research and the creation of new knowledge, documents published by the MINEDU will be reviewed, such as the National Curriculum for Education and the Curricular Programs and, at the same time, a theoretical approach to the Japanese poetic tradition and its particular aesthetic, as well as the specific stylistic characteristics of the Haiku and, of course, its aesthetic effect.
Likewise, it is reported that registrations will begin on Monday starting at 3:00 p.m. m.
Certificates will be awarded
